BIS Certification cost depends upon the type of product, Indian Standard applicable to that product, testing procedure, inspection procedure, application cost, and extent of the certification process itself. In some cases, very costly laboratory testing procedures apply to the particular product category; however, in other cases, a completely different process is followed for compliance. Thus, there may be huge differences in prices amongst various product groups.
